Hip-hop se hande op’ uitdruklik op die polisie brutaliteit: Watch Video deur oom Murda & Maino

“Hands Up”. Finally In a hip-hop statement.

Dear Hip-Hop,
I have been waiting to hear your voice on this issue of police brutality and the innocent men and children who have recently lost their lives–Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Oscar Grant, 12 year old Tamir Rice– which has lead our community outrages. At one point I began to wonder if you had betrayed them and the rest of us who love hip-hop like Judas did to Christ. Political activist had spoken out and marched with us just as Malcolm X and Martin Luther King did; NFL Saint Louis Rams players on Sunday made an overtly political statement with their “hands up, don’t shoot” gesture as they went on the field– Kind of reminded me of the famous historical photo of Die 1968 Olympics Black Power salute when Tommie Smith and John Carlos also made a political statement with a fist pump as a symbol of a fight for civil rights. But I had not heard from you like I usually do when it comes to ‘Beamer, Benz or Bently’ or Bugatti , Rozay, Shmoney etc. I kept on looking out of the window for the new generation of ‘Fight the power’ and almost lost hope; but thank you, thank you and thank you again for finally speaking out in such a creative and explicit way to honor the deceased while voicing out on the issue of police brutality. Stay blessed and I look forward to the remix with other hip-hop artist voicing out as well. Let’s keep in touch in changing the negative image people have about us and hip-hop; Hip-hops’ image is not about drugs, violence and booty shaking, it is beyond the beat, it is a creative weapon and movement designed to fight social, cultural and political issues for a better future. Hip-hop is not dead, it still has a heartbeat.

Hip-hop “hands up” for Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Oscar Grant, 12 year old Tamir Rice and all fallen in the hands of Police brutality.

1 Black Man Is Killed Every 28 Hours by Police or Vigilantes.White officers kill black suspects twice a week in the United States, or an average of 96 times a year.Around 98.9% of excessive force allegations are ultimately ruled as justified.Black Male Teens Are 21 Times More Likely To Be Killed By Cops Than White MALE TEENS.What’s NEXT?

WE ‘HANDS UP’ TODAY SO THAT TOMORROWS YOUTH CAN ‘HANDS DOWN’

ribute to Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Oscar Grant and all who have died due to police brutality.
