Real Music from the Soul is Back! Mateo is Orijin’s Featured Artist of the Day

While most of us have enjoyed the fast rhythms and catchy hooks of many of the popular songs today, many have been yearning for something more substantial and meaningful. We reminisce about the days when music was not only infectious; it also filled that unexplainable void. It touched the soul and enabled you to reach that emotional space that seemed unreachable until you heard that one song.

Crooner Mateo is here to fill the void many of us have been experiencing with music! Based in Los Angeles, the R&B singer/songwriter is slated to release his up and coming mixtape Love & Stadiums on March 30^th. For his second single off his up and coming mixtape, Mateo has teamed up with acclaimed soul singer Goapele and rapper Ab Liva on his newly released single “Don’t Shoot Me Down.” The single has all of the necessary elements of a soulful, feel-good song.

If this single is an indication of what we can expect from the mixtape, then we have a lot to look forward to. The mixtape is a collaborative effort with Grammy Award winning producer Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, who has been the main producer for the beautiful and talented Alicia Keys.
