Reggae artist Vybz Kartel has managed to spark a global debate about the prominence of skin bleaching in the Black and non-white communities. The latest response to Vybz Kartel and his skin bleaching comes from fellow reggae artist Mr. Vegas. In his video “Black and Proud (Nah Bleach),” Mr. Vegas asserts his pride about being Black and provides some encouraging words about educating youths to be proud of their roots and heritage.
